2010 was a good year and I'm ready to make 2011 even better. I decided on my motto while I was home for the holidays.
On Christmas Eve, Heather, Jared and I did some last minute gift shopping. [It's hard to buy before when I know I have to pack it in my luggage] During our shopping we purchased some goods from the Under Armour outlet. At some point over the holidays I was looking at the bag that had Under Armour's latest slogan on it:
So I present to you my motto for the year [stolen from Under Armour].
2011: I will!
In 2011 I will:
Play the violin more,
Eat out 4 or fewer times a month,
Save more moolah,
Write more letters via the postal service,
Read at least 5 books with one of those 5 being the New Testament,
Visit Yellowstone for my first time,
Complete 200 hours of service.
What I love about "2011: I will!" is that it's another positive mindset for the year. What things won't happen in 2011?...it doesn't matter because there are so many things I will make happen. It's about leaving behind the won'ts of yester-years and focusing on the wills.

I love it, especially writing more letters via the post office. I read something today that said babies born this year won't know handwritten letters; just email. So sad!
