Happiest Place on Earth

A few weeks ago it was Genna's 25th birthday and she loves Disneyland so we went to celebrate. I haven't been since fifth grade [I think!] and it was my first time to California Adventure. So fun!

A piece of advice: If you're with adults and you can manage to not sit next to each other on the rides, single rider lines are the way to go!! We got on multiple rides in less than 10 minutes by going as single riders.

Favorite ride of the day: California Screamin'

a picture of a picture...do people actually buy those pics?
Scariest ride of the day: Mickey's Fun Wheel-- not kidding

We went in the cages that glide as well as go around the wheel. I was terrified! Those cages swing so much more than it appears as you watch them from the ground. I was clutching the cage the entire time. [all while the 7-year-old girl sitting across from me acted like nothing was wrong]

Tower of Terror -- We said we would all make funny faces, but I forgot in the moment because I was laughing at Tresa's screams.

It felt good to be a kid again. I think Disneyland really is the happiest place on earth!

It totally helps take the "real-life" stresses away. Maybe they should have "Disney Therapy" as an option.
