This week I started some contract work with SimTek doing product training at all the Home Depot stores. It feels great to do something during the day other than look for a job, and, to be honest, I think I'm kind of good at it. Cheryl at the Santee store told me I was good at it too :-). I like SimTek and I like talking with people...put those two together and it's a nice fit. I also enjoy driving around and seeing new places. San Diego County is mostly so darn beautiful [it has its ghetto like any city]. Hills, beach, sunshine...it's a good life.

I'm not much of a TV watcher but I've decided to give some shows my friends like a shot. Downton Abbey (PBS Masterpiece series) is one I always hear friends talking about or people on Facebook posting about-- I must say after watching a few episodes-- I think it's just a soap opera set in England in the early 1900s. Too much drama!

I drove by a Sprinkles tonight and pulled over to give the much talked about cupcakes a try. I wasn't disappointed! They are as good as people claim and not overloaded with frosting like Cocoa Bean Cupcake Cafe or Sweet Tooth Fairy in Utah, but, expensive for one cupcake.

I went to Sprinkles 2 different times when I was in Beverly Hills and the first time it was AMAZING (red velvet). The second time it just seemed "okay". Still fun tho.

Im going to coronado (near san diego) in march for a week. We are going to go to dland, cali adv, and sea world. im psyched. i saw on your recent blog that you went to cali adv, etc. looks like a blast. I have never been to cali adv.
